New Loislaw Content available to Case School of Law Faculty, Students and Staff:
Mindful of the growing importance of exposing law students to the less expensive alternative computer assisted legal research systems, we have recently entered into a new subscription arrangement with Aspen?s Loislaw. Members of the Case Western School of Law may now access Loislaw without entering a login and password since access is now based on IP-address. For access via the wireless network or remotely, users must connect to Case VPN.
In addition to this new access method, there is also ADDITIONAL SECONDARY CONTENT available through the Loislaw Treatise Libraries. The full list of available Aspen Treatise Libraries appears at the end of this message. To highlight just a few of the notable full-text treatises and reference tools now available to Case Law School members:
? Wigmore on Evidence (11 volumes) (Evidence Library).
? Scientific Evidence and Experts Handbook (Evidence Library).
? Covenants Not to Compete (Employment Law Library).
? Trial Techniques (Mauet Trial Practice Library).
? Stedman's Medical Dictionary, 28th Edition (Personal Injury Law Library).
? Lawrence Taylor & Steven Oberman, Drunk Driving Defense (Drunk Driving Defense Library).
What you need to know to use Loislaw now:
? Tutorials.
? Quick Reference Card.
? Online Help and Reference.
? Common Questions.
? Expert Search Tips.
? Loislaw Case Coverage.
? The Law Library is also able to arrange for group training via a Microsoft Live Meeting webinar.
