Live Arts Bard Shakespeare gets the Live Arts Festival treatment (call 215-413-1318): In Lady M, the all-female Swim Pony Performing Arts reimagines Macbeth by having his wife summon a coven of witches to investigate her fate. Using extreme vocalizations and movement, the troupe re-creates the action of the play as a sonic swirl. The show goes on at 7 p.m. Sunday at the Arts Bank, 601 S. Broad St., and continues with performances at 7 p.m. Tuesday through Friday. Tickets are $15 to $30. . . . The intrepid Pig Iron Theatre Company puts its spin on the antic Twelfth Night, with its wordplay, gender-bending, and all-purpose absurdity uniquely suited to the avant-garde specialists. The show goes on at 7 p.m. Sunday at the Suzanne Roberts Theatre, 480 S. Broad St., and continues with performances at 7 p.m. Wednesday and Thursday, 6 p.m. Friday, 2 and 8 p.m. Saturday, 1 and 7 p.m. next Sunday, 7 p.m. Sept. 13 to 15, 6 p.m. Sept. 16, and 2 and 8 p.m. Sept. 17. Tickets are $15 to $30.
