Avison Young?s New York City office announced that the company represented Focus Financial Partners, LLC in an office lease to occupy a full floor, totaling 11,923 s/f, at 825 Third Avenue.
The new lease will accommodate the continued growth of Focus, the largest international partnership of independent, fiduciary wealth management firms, which is relocating from 7,400 sf at 909 Third Avenue.
Owned by The Durst Organization, 825 Third Avenue is a 40-story, 486,326 s/f office tower at East 50th Street that features a modern lobby and high-speed elevators, in addition to on-site banking and a restaurant. Close to the United Nations, it is also near to a number of subway lines and Grand Central Terminal.
?The building offered a well-priced alternative along Third Avenue with great light, city views and an efficient floor plate configuration,? said Greg Kraut, Avison Young principal who represented Focus along with Dana Trulis and Paul Massey.
?This area of Third Avenue has become a destination for companies in search of value in a strategic Midtown locale with great access to transportation. We are very pleased to have been able to identify a new office location for Focus that effectively addresses the firm?s business needs.?
