Mentally ill people are often referred to as ?street people? because they live their lives publically on the streets of the city. Usually bohemia shapes these people?s lives.

Each city is dotted with street people regardless of how safe or developed it is. ?One of the most famous street men in the world is Jos? Mar?a L?pez Lled?n known as El caballero de Paris which means a gentlemen from Paris who was born in Havana, Cuba.

After some years of his death, the Cuban government built a statue to honor his memory.

Kenitra has its own street people some are originally from the city and many found their destiny at this city.

Hassan Mouslimin is a concrete example of a street man who has become a part of the memory of the city of Kenitra.

In fact many similarities can be drawn between Hassan Mouslimin of Kenitra and Jos? Mar?a L?pez Lled?n of Cuba, particularly in their facial expressions and the hair style.

Hassan Mouslimiin, 'El Caballero de Kenitra' or the Gentlemen from KenitraHassan Mouslimim is one of the well-known insane young men in Kenitra. Hassan was born in Kenitra and he never thought of leaving it.

Hassan was fine growing up, but the effects of losing his mother affected him so greatly that he began to lose his reasoning skills.

?His mother had disappeared never came back,? said Hemde one of old his neighbors.

Hassan is almost 45 years old and I think his body, hairstyle and facial expressions make him a famous and a unique guy. In short Hassan looks like the Jamaican singer Bob Marley with his brown face, dark bear and long Rasta hair.

He was named ?Mouslimin? because when he was a little boy, some of his friends abused a cat, and he condemned that act by saying ?We are Mouslimiin? meaning that real Muslims do not abuse animals.

I still remember when both my friends and I wished to have hair like. It was distinguished hair, in fact.

?Hassan is a lovely and peaceful he has never attacked any one,? said Halima, a waitress.

Whenever a caf? customer left his bike out he does not hesitate to ride it and enjoy a short tour and the bike owners do not react to this because they know that Hassan would ride it back. That?s his real hobby and may be riding a bike was one of his dreams when he was a child.

?Hassan has become one of the unforgettable memories of Kenitra and when you talk about Kenitra you talk about Said Aouita, Boussati, khalifa as well as Hassan Mouslimin,? said Hakim, a cafe owner.

Hassan spends most of his day in Tehroun, a popular area in Kenitra, full of cafes. He eats what left over from previous customers. Besides, he receives some food from the cafes and restaurants in the region for the services that he usually offers to them such as cleaning or swiping.

Hassan, the gentleman from Kenitra, has become one of the symbols of Kenitra city and his name has to be written down in the record of the city.
